Wow! This was a doozy! It is a 12″ and 10″ vanilla cake iced with vanilla buttercream. A 6″ double barrel chocolate cake iced with chocolate ganache and covered with black fondant. It is then decorated with white fondant to look like a basketball net/rim. The ball is chocolate cake iced with chocolate ganache covered with orange fondant. The mortar board is hand cut from fondant. The backboard is a foam board covered in fondant to look like a backboard. There are 24 vanilla cupcakes and 24 chocolate cupcakes. Shew! A lot of work and worry!
